Comparison between N96 and N95 8GB

Nokia N series is very famous series in Nokia phone Category. Now days mobile phone industry grows very rapidly and to gain more popularity every year, Nokia launches new mobile phones or upgrade their existing model. In October 2007 Nokia launches N95 8GB mobile phone which is upgrade version of Nokia N95. After seeing the popularity of this phone they launch a new N series mobile phone which is N96 in February, 2008.

Comparison between N95 8GB and N96

Networks
Both N95 8GB and N96 supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G Network and HSDPA 2100 3G Network. N96 also supports HSDPA 850 3G Network which is not present in N95 8GB.

Size
The dimensions of N95 8GB 99 x 53 x 21 mm, 96 cc whereas the dimensions of N96 103 x 55 x 18 mm, 92cc. The weight of N95 8GB is 128g whereas weight of N96 is 125g So we can say that N95 8GB is slightly heavier than N96.

Display
Screen of both the phones have TFT with 16 million colors with a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixel and screen size of both N96 and N95 8GB is also same which is 2.8 inches.

Ringtones
Both phone support Polyphonic(64 channels), monophonic, true tones, MP3 and include customized download and vibration facilities.

Memory
We can say that phone book memory of both the phone is very large as they can store large number of entries and fields. It can store, detailed call records maximum upto 30 days. Internal memory of N96 is around 16GB where as internal memory of N95 8G is 8GB. Both N96 and N95 8GB have 128 MB SDRAM. N96 supports external memory card slot where as N95 8GB does not support this feature. So we can say internal memory of N96 is more than N95 8GB and N95 8GB also not support external memory card slot.
