Comparison between N95 and N95 8GB

Some year ago Nokia released a new category of phones which are called as N series. By this series they attempt to rule over other phones out there in its class. As we know that nokia is a leading brand name in the mobile phone arena and to maintain their name, ever year they launch a new mobile phone or upgrade its existing phone with new and exiting features. In march 2007 nokia launches N95 series and after few months, in october 2007 they launches its new and upgrade version called N95 8GB. Both phone generally contains the same features except some.

Comparison between N95 and N95 8GB

Networks
Both N95 and N95 8GB supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G Network and HSDPA 2100 3G Network.

Size
Dimensions of the both the phone are mostly similar.The dimensions of N95 is 99 x 53 x 21 mm, 90 cc and dimension of N95 8GB 99 x 53 x 21 mm, 96 cc. The weight of N95 is 120 g and weight of N95 8GB is 128g. So we can say that N95 8GB is slightly heavier than N95.

Display
Screen of both the phones have TFT with 16 million colors with a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixel. Screen size of N95 is 40 x 53 mm and N95 8GB is 2.8 inches.

Ringtones
Both phone support Polyphonic(64 channels), monophonic, true tones, MP3 and include customized download and vibration facilities.

Memory
We can say that phone book memory of both the phone is very large as they can store large number of entries and fields. It can store, detailed call records maximum upto 30 days. Internal memory of N95 is around 160 mb where as internal memory of N95 8G is 8GB. N95 has 64 MB SDRAM whereas N95 8GB has 128 MB SDRAM. Both have ARM 11 332 MHz processor. N95 supports external memory card slot where as N95 8GB does not support this feature. So we can say that internal memory of N95 8GB is much more than N95 but with a drawback of having a no external memory slot.
